PHOTOGRAPHY

ABOUT :

Photography here is a playground of contrasts and saturation, an invitation to see beyond the apparent reality and capture the stillness of moments. Each image seeks to capture the fragile beauty of everyday life, whether urban or rural, frozen in the flow of time.

Through an exploration of light and water, these photographs reveal moments of pure emotion, suspended instants where happiness, melancholy, and contemplation intertwine. Far from being mere snapshots, they become open windows to the often-overlooked richness of our surroundings, inviting us to see what escapes our usual perception.

Each image presented here reflects an emotional experience, a way of capturing the essence of the world in its simplicity, revealing the fleeting beauty of life through the lens of my own sensitivity.

ABYSS’S ECHOES

INFO

This series, made in April 2024, explores the intersection of material and imagination, where subjects morph into mysterious forms. Some appear as beings from another world, while others evoke the resonant patterns of cymatics, capturing echoes from an unseen, perhaps primordial, abyss.

Through dark textures and shadowed nuances, these photographs aim to reveal what escapes the initial glance: a graphic language, balanced between reality and abstraction, where the raw beauty of nature rises as dreamlike, otherworldly forms. These are visual fragments of an unknown world, where each detail carries an ancient resonance, like echoes of a lost origin.

Abyss’s Echoes invites viewers to dive into a poetic and enigmatic universe, where material, under the guise of charcoal-like sketches, becomes a gateway to the unknown, challenging perceptions and inviting us to rediscover the hidden beauty within the world around us.

Each shot invites us to contemplate overlooked details and feel the passing of time, evoking both fleeting joy and lingering melancholy.

In these images, the interplay of light and water becomes central to daily activities and social connections, creating a sense of wonder in Portugal’s landscapes. Each photograph is a doorway to raw emotion, inspiring viewers to explore life’s subtle richness through a deeply personal lens.

What is real ?

INFO

This series of photographs, captured in Lisbon in 2024, explores the boundary between perception and reality. Playing with contrasts and saturation, What is Real invites viewers to see beyond appearances and uncover what lies behind our initial filters of perception.

Through a close look at the city, each image becomes an exploration of the multiple layers within urban reality. Seeing, projecting, interpreting, and sharing—all become ways to ask: What are we truly seeing? And how can perception mislead us? These photographs invite us to consider the invisible and question the depth of what we call “reality.”

Lisbon, with its vibrant energy and rich contrasts, serves as a visual playground, where each shot is a mirror that both reflects and conceals, encouraging viewers to rethink what they think they know.

IMMOBLITY

INFO

Immobility is a photographic series that captures the stillness of life in Ericeira, Portugal, where nature and human presence intersect in quiet harmony. Through each image, the series reflects on moments suspended in time: coastal landscapes shaped by wind, weathered architecture, and everyday scenes frozen in peaceful contemplation.

The photographs explore a slower rhythm, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the beauty of stillness and the subtle resistance to the rush of modern life. Immobility is not a lack of life but a deeper way of experiencing it, inviting us to see beyond the surface.

Torino

INFO

Analysis • Architecture and Photography • Post 2006 Olympics • Turin, Italy • Supposed to be repurposed into residential and research space after the festivities, the reality of the Turin Olympic Village located in the Lingotto district is quite different. Fourteen years later, the abandonment and unsanitary conditions of these places raise questions about the sustainability of the constructions and the ecological disasters generated by individuals’ entertainment.
